There are lot of interesting questions in c. So i named the post as question1 as same as my another post which are going to continue in coming days. This is also one of them. One day my professor ask me this question. The question is how can you assign one value to variable without using assignment operator. May be it is very easier to some of you who knows c very well. But i didnt like this questions but i love the language. I tell my answers but he is not satisfied with all. Can you suggest one opt answer of that. Because i am a lazy person i am not going to search anywhere.

What is original? There is no correct answer for this question. Everything depends on the situation. If you think one of your decisions is correct for one situation but it is not applicable to another situation. There is nothing like original nature for humans. The character is comes from their environment. If someone said he/she is not able to change his/her character or attitude according to the situation then definitely he/she will be a loser in an new environment. Dynamic character is needed now. Change in thinking is good. There is nothing like more lovable or more dislike things. In one situation one is lovable but in another situation the same will be dislike by others.

All of us like dreams, because we can do anything in our dreams. There are no rules and regulations. All the things are done according to our wish. We always win in our dreams, no failures are there. These are the normal things; I want to say a special feature of dreams. We feel the situation and events, in dreams as real as it is happening actually. The great sample for this is, you want to know, what you feel when you fall from a top of a building. Dont want to jump, with a pursuit or by holding a rope. It is very easy in dream, yes, if you have a dream like that, then you feel it very naturally. And take care it may cause heart attack, so always have soft dream.

Debt Consolidation Loans & Settlement – Consolidate Your Debt For Free

Taking the negative as a positive is the real positive attitude. Many people have a list that these are good words and these are bad, for example, end, stop, and fail are the words in their bad list. They are also good, even best, yes without the end of old we cant start a new and if any process continuously moving without end, you feel boring on that. So we need the end for anything and everything. Here the negative word end becomes positive by our thinking. In the world there are no negative things, it is based on our view.

Flash of light ” Blog Archive ” Knives:

This is not at all the lesson that teaches you how to live your life. It is about how we waste the things and money in lazy thing that never going give any benefits to us. Some people buy some stuff for no reason. Like that some peoples house is full of this kind of things. They dont know how to make them use and they also dont want to give it to some others people who need that things. Just like a bike in the house there is no one to rid that bike. I dont know what made them to react like that. My friend having tennis rocket but I dont know how to play. I asked him to give that rocket to me but he suddenly says no and added that he didnt know the reason. I dont know the reason because that bat is sleeping with him.

Anger is too bad but we dont have that stuff in all situations. If the situation is too worse we cannot control our anger. If you try to control it, then you are doing a very thing. Dont control your anger once that thing is formed just show it to the right person who is the reason for that anger. If you control it, you will face serious faults in your ordinary duties. If you have the capability to ignore the anger, then no problem for you.
Because I dont have that stuff if I have anger just I express to the person even they are superior to me. I feel uneasy when I have anger in me. So just vent your anger.

Working faster is definitely a very good thing. Because it saves time, for example working with key board with knowing typing is different from searching the keys. If you work fast it will give you a lot of satisfaction that you are fit. And I bet you feel great about yourself. One thing is taken into concern, working faster is not about the speed. It is about how you take decisions and how fast you imply that one on your environment. This fastness comes from experience not from any other stuff. There is also a bit difference between working fast and fast working. This first one only concern about the speed but the second one guarantee for the work to be finished.

Is Apple Killing Linux on the Desktop? – Slashdot

This is one of the real difficult I face when I am preparing for my exam every time. I cannot touch my book I have any work waiting for me. I can touch my book only I feel free. For example if I have to go to bank tomorrow for an inquiry I cannot able to touch the book today. After only finished that bank work only I can able to study. And I dont like any disturbance in the middle. I got a sudden anger if I disturbed by some one in any of my important work. I dont know why I have this manner. But one thing I like this behavior because its me, its give a unique identity to me. What you think about it?

Ways to Avoid Picture Comparison Software

Ways to Avoid Picture Comparison Software
You probably don’t need picture comparison software.
You’ve got hundreds, maybe thousands, of digital photos on your computer and you know that some of them are duplicates that can go. Maybe some photos with red-eye got touched up and you never deleted the originals-saving the original is a good safe practice, so that while you’re working with a photo you can’t destroy the original image.
You’re careful, and you’ve saved every one.
But then you didn’t go back and delete the red-eye or too dark or slightly angled photograph once you’d played with the image and made it picture perfect.
But despite that, you just won’t need picture comparison software to get all those duplicates off your machine.
You relish the challenge of doing it yourself. You never take the easy way out.
Why let a program do something for you in a short amount of time when you can spend weeks doing the same thing?
You’re a do-it-yourselfer.
Who needs help?
If you want to avoid the pesky convenience of picture comparison software, here are a few ideas to help you out:
Don’t delete the duplicates.
This is the simple solution and the one you’ve been following for a while.
All those duplicate pictures aren’t hurting anything.
If you don’t count how they take up unnecessary space on your hard drive, slowing your machine.
Or how, when you go to retrieve a picture, you’ll always end up with the wrong version first and have to search for the “final” version.
Life is full of little annoyances-you’ve gotten used to it.
Why change now just because picture comparison software is available?
Print all your pictures and dive in. You won’t mind the vast expense of all that photo paper and ink.
Not to mention the wear and tear on your printer, which will probably have to crank out photos for a day straight, or more. Move all the furniture out of your living room and any other rooms necessary to lay all of them out flat.
Then simply look for duplicates.
You can even dust the corners of your rooms where you couldn’t reach before with the furniture there.
Picture comparison software can’t do that!
But if that sounds daunting, you can invite people over to help you.
Shuffle the photos like cards and deal a game of Go Fish to some family members.
Then they can simply ask other people for duplicates by describing the photographs.
What could be easier? Just be sure to provide lots of snacks and bathroom breaks, and you’ll be done in a matter of weeks!
Pay a child to do it for you.
Kids love to get paid for things and feel like they’re helping out. And most of them love puzzles and pictures with hidden objects and the like. Pay several children, though. If you pick just one child, he or she will have to go away to college eventually, and you won’t want the task left undone.
Who needs picture comparison software!
You need? Download Image Comparer now!
Or read the next article – What Picture Compare Software Can Do.

A View From Inside the OLPC Project – Slashdot

I’ve been disappointed and underwhelmed by Sugar in the form that it was delivered on the G1G1 units. Now, I’m not a kid, and I’ve been brain-warped by decades of exposure to the Mac, but I really feel a lot of cognitive dissonance between Sugar’s stated design goals and what’s actually been delivered. For example, one of Sugar’s key design principles [laptop.org] is “recoverability,” and it says “However, the primary and essential means of recoverability remains the ability to undo one’s actions.”Nevertheless, the keyboard has no marked “undo” key, and very, very few of the Sugar’s activities appear to support any kind of “undo” facility.Similarly, I’ve read the theory of how the Journal is supposed to work, and I may be wrong–I don’t have any kids to try it on–but as nearly as I can tell, the only way you can find past Journal entries is by a very left-brained search capability that requires you to have labeled each Journal entry as you make it.There’s a long essay [laptop.org] on how the Journal is supposed to work… revolutionary, non-hierarchical, etc. But I’ve found “tagging” to be a royal, royal pain. It’s all very well to say that “Tagging will become a fundamental process for all types of data and activities on the laptops. Fortunately, children have a natural inclination to describe their world and the things they see and do.” As I say, I haven’t watched kids use the thing and maybe they “get” it, but I find it extremely hard to envision a ten-year old typing in tags every time he creates a journal entry. While I’m intrigued by the idea of a GUI that is new from the ground up and informed by a fresh way of looking at things… to tell the truth my main motivation for participating in G1G1 was to experience Sugar… I’m quite disappointed by what’s actually been achieved.Right now, Sugar is a program launcher, no better than the Apple Dock or the Windows Tray… and to this aging brain, at least, the Journal simply doesn’t work very well. Much less well than the Mac Finder as it existed in 1984, for example. However, the problem is that I think open source is a key educational feature for OLPC. The concept of a “view source” button thrilled me. I grew up at a time when you could take the back off a TV set and see the tubes inside, and smash a tube in a vise and see the plate and filament and so forth inside. Maybe I couldn’t build a TV or modify a vacuum tube, but just the conceptual readiness of looking inside was terribly important.I was disappointed in the absence of a working “View Source” button in the G1G1 build. I think it’s very important that all the code in the XO be open for inspection, and that definitely includes the GUI. So however bad Sugar is, I think it would be a disaster to replace it with a proprietary GUI.

Fedora 9 (Sulphur) Released – Slashdot

Hello – as the maintainer of Konsole I’ll explain what is going on.
I’ll address specific points first:> The buttons for quickly closing/opening a tab are gone.Konsole in KDE 4.0 is orientated more around keyboard shortcuts – which I think makes sense in a terminal.
(Ctrl+Shift+N creates a new tab, Ctrl+Shift+W closes the current one, although I would recommend using the normal Ctrl+D combination to exit the shell)Enough people complained (via bugs.kde.org) that I added the ‘New Tab’ button back in as an option in KDE 4.1.
Plus there are Firefox-esqueue close buttons on tabs and support for re-arranging tabs by drag and drop or moving tabs between windows.> The ability to send input to all tabs is completely goneIt didn’t work at the time of the 4.0 release so it got cut.
It has been reimplemented in KDE 4.1 with more flexibility in response to various RFE bug reports:http://commit-digest.org/issues/2008-04-13/files/konsole-copy-input-to.png [commit-digest.org]It is not the case the Konsole in KDE 4.0 has ‘less features’ in total.
The menus may look far emptier but there is actually not very much missing.
In fact it has quite a few additions, mostly fulfilling a large backlog of feature requests in bugs.kde.org, which I think are very useful:* The terminal setup UI was replaced with one which is simpler but also more flexible* Split-view mode* Incremental search* Key binding editor* Improved performance, especially scrolling in large windowsIn any case, if you have a complaint then please report it at http://bugs.kde.org/ [kde.org] – I am much more likely to read about it there than on Slashdot.
Plus it also allows users to vote on the issues most important to them which is helpful from my perspective trying to allocate the limited spare time I have. Finally, as someone who followed KDE development discussion quite closely over the last two years, it is inaccurate to say that KDE is attempting to “copy” Windows Vista or is in some large measure “inspired” by it.
The menu for example was originally developed by OpenSuSE for KDE 3 – a long time before Vista was released, based on openSuSE’s own research.
Evidence of this can be found in some notably different design decisions compared with Vista’s menu.
For example, both the Gnome SLED menu and KDE’s “Kickoff” have a search facility but it is located at the top of the menu rather than the button because users couldn’t find it when it was placed at the bottom.I think the view that KDE is trying to “clone” Windows, if not trolling, boils down to the use of black on the bar at the bottom of the screen.
I am not involved with that part of KDE but I understand that the look of it is quite likely to change somewhat for KDE 4.1.

Slashdot | Five Things You Can’t Discuss about Linux

My Short Analysis of Rob Enderle’s Strange Rant: The Five Things You Arent Allowed to Discuss About Linux
Posted by Rob Enderle on Monday 26 February 2007 at 7:44 pm
One:
Is Linux a Myth?
Because “Linux” comes in so many different distros, he claims there no such specific thing as Linux. Just like there are so many different versions of Windows, that there’s no such specific thing as “Windows”? Five minutes in the penalty box with a beginners book on set theory. Two:
Is Linux Secure? Based on his answer to One above, he proclaims that any technical analysis of security is impossible, but he will concentrate on other vulnerabilities unique to Linux. He then goes off on a tangent about “pretexting”, which is a security vulnerability common to all systems, which at the end of the diatribe, he even admits. A few backhanded barbs about “commie spies” are included.
Three:
Do Communes Work? First he answers “yes, it looks like it”, but then goes off about how the commune isn’t a happy fairyland where all the members get along (I don’t recall any promise of that). He follows on with a silly tangent about the GPL sneaking into your office and stealing all your intellectual property. Yet another idiot who is offended that GPL isn’t Public Domain, so people can’t just take stuff released under it, polish it, and sell it proprietary-style.
Four:
Is Linux Pro-Developer, or Pro-You? Ill-formed argument– a continuation of his GPL rant above, really– claiming you can’t make money at Linux because it is not a Ferrari, it’s a Ford? Then a weird rant about how the recent reduction in outsourcing is making UNIX and mainframes the hot new thing? This guy’s all over the map.
Is Linux is Open? He says Linux isn’t open because every time he opens his mouth and says something really, really stupid, everyone calls him an idiot and tells him to shut up.
Once again, proof that there’s nothing so irritating as a dumbass who thinks he’s smart.

Online Casino TX – online casinos news, reviews, downloads, ratings

Dec
AllSlots casino is holding the World Series of Slots tournament in which the whole pool equals the astonishing amount of $200,000. The slots tournament takes place this weekend, from November 7 to 10.
Players will fight for the first place which will be awarded with $100,000. The amount is the highest sum ever seen in such a tournament.
According to David Brickman, the Jackpot Factorys VP of Player Affairs, the tournament attracts so many players due to the fact that it gives an opportunity to win incredibly high amount of money with a small financial input. Many participants in the upcoming $200,000 Grand Final have won their entry for free by playing in the numerous feeder tournaments held throughout the course of the World Series of Slots, Brickman continued.
In the tournament not only three first places will be awarded. It is said that 200 players will receive accordingly high prizes, form $100 to $10,000. As it was mentioned before, the first place will be awarded with $100,000, the second place with $25,000 and finally the third place with $10,000. If we take under consideration the height of buy-ins, which amount $100, the prizes are really astonishing.

Is Apple Killing Linux on the Desktop? – Slashdot

I used to be a pretty hard-core Linux on the Desktop guy.
Every PC I ever built or bought (laptops) dual-booted Windows and Linux.
At one point in college, I was even writing my essays in HTML to print from within Netscape 4, as there weren’t any decent Linux word processing software (that was free ;)) circa late 1996.
I kept Windows around because there was-and-is a lot of stuff that Linux doesn’t do well, if at all; Photoshop (GIMP wasn’t a contender until GimpShop, too little too late), Office, Final Cut Pro, StarCraft, etc.
OpenOffice (NeoOffice) is finally to the point where it’s almost an Office replacement (in my line of work, I have to volley a document back and forth a dozen times or more between my office and third parties’, with Track Changes and Comments and those aren’t in OpenOffice).
I returned to Mac (my last Mac previously was a PowerBook 5300/100 with System 7.5.x and MachTen (http://www.tenon.com/products/machten/ [tenon.com]) around OS X Jaguar, on an iBook G3/600.
That thing was indestructible (fell off the back of my motorcycle at ~40mph and survived outdoors for a week before I recovered it, still works 4 years later), and led to a PowerBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook (engineering school tote-along), iMac, Mac mini HTPC…
What I love?
Running Perl / Apache / PHP / MySQL / etc. in a comfortable “native” UNIX environment, while still having all my GUI goodness with Mail.app, Safari.app, Preview.app, Office 2004, StarCraft (yeah, I’m way behind the times in gaming, don’t care, don’t have time), etc., all a click away as native apps.
Plus, now with VMWare and Windows, I can keep around the software I need for school (XILINX, Visual Studio Pro 2005, etc) on one platform.
Front Row is a great HTPC interface.
AppleScript lets me automate flipping between it and my Elgato EyeTV, with the sleek little Apple remote control.
Awesome industrial design (Macs are pretty; most PCs look cobbled together, with the possible exception of the VAIOs).
I haven’t run Linux in years, except at the office where we setup a big Linux file / backup server.
Even my home server is now an old PowerMac G4 with matched (and software mirrored) internal hard drives and OS X Tiger Server.
The UI is better, the third-party application support is there, and most software I want is either a single-click .dmg install or no more difficult to install than it is on Linux (through Darwin Ports and fink), often easier (fink vs. yum, for instance).
Most servers I’d deploy would still be Linux, as Apple’s hardware is expensive in that market niche and there’s no value add (I’m going to be running the same AMP software stack regardless of OS X or Linux as the underlying platform).
But on the desktop, unless you’re totally cash-starved, there’s no compelling reason for me or most of the techie people I know to run Linux on the desktop, and lots of good reasons to use OS X instead.
This is a trend that’s been building for a while (I jumped in 2002, the biggest geeks in my circle jumped shortly thereafter):

“http://www.FC64.org The unofficial Fedora Core 64 Guide”

Untitled Document
GRAND OPENING !!
Welcome to FC64.org, the whole reason why i wanted to make this website is I used to run Fedora Core 32Bit and i loved it, but once i got my 64bit processor i switched to Fedora Core 64Bit and i found out that lots of applications are different in 64Bit you need to tweak them to make them work under a 64Bit environment, after lots of searches and googling, i found many people have questions on how to install some of the important softwares and there is almost no support for 64Bit softwares out there, so hopefully this website will provide helpful information, for any concerns please let me know at Aldech1@msn.com, also if you have something you want to share with us, please let me know and i will post it here and of course give you all the credits. This website is all about making Linux easier to use.
Fedora Core 4 (64 BIT) INSTALLATION:
1.
well, first of all obviously you need to go and download the Fedora core 4 64 bit CDs, or DVD, for me personally i used the DVD to have the whole thing in one
2.
go to your bios and change the settings to make it boot from CD
3.
put
CD #1 or DVD in your drive and reboot your system, at the boot prompt press Enter
4.
Hit enter for “ok” and then you can either test you media or skip test, (test wont take long time)
5.
After the anaconda graphical installation loads, click next at the “Welcome page”
6.
at the “Language selection” click next for defaults which is English or select your language
7.
at the “Keyboard configuration” click next for Default which is English or choose your language
8.
at the “installation type” page, click on Custome, so we can have controll over which applications to install
9.
at the “Disk partitioning setup” page, you can either click “Automatically partition” (Fedora Core will use VolGroup) or click on “manually edit your partition with Disk Druid”
10.
If you selected “manually edit your partition with Disk Druid” then double click at the top bar where it says Free space and make a swap partition (your swap partition size should be double your memory) then double click at the free space again and make it ext3 as root “/”.
11.
on the “Network Configuration” page leave everything set to DHCP assuming that you have broadband
12.
on the ” Firewall Configuration” page, leave firewall enabled and make sure you check “ssh”, “http”, “https”, “ftp” and “smtp”. Leave “Enable SELinux” “active”.
13.
on the “Time Zone Selection” page, click on your location and click next
14.
on the ” Set Root Password” page, set your root password and click next
15.
on the “Package Group Selection” page, scroll all the way down and click on EVERYTHING, this way you dont have to worry about any missing dependencies when you install other applications. (this will take about 7GBs)
16.
click on continue to start the installation.
17.
after the installation Fedora Core will reboot, then you will have to enter your user information to finish the installation.
